Good morning

As the title states, looking for suggestions on short inseam rain gear. I know kuiu has them. Any other brands that you would recommend?
I was originally looking at the kuiu chugach TR or the kutana. If you have opinions either of those as well, please post it.
Thank you

I had this same issue for a while. It ultimately came down to me trying to decide what pro/con/features I was willing to live with and what I wasn't. Here's what I found:

- REI has a really great short inseam for their in-house brand. The outer material might survive brushing a blade of grass. They have zips at the bottom, but there's very little chance you're getting them over a boot. The fit is great though.

- The Sitka Dewpoint was great- great zip, fit, etc. They swallow my legs in every fashion (28-30" inseam; the latter is a good day). I wore these on a sheep hunt to AK and just rolled them/dealt with it as a I could.

- The First Lite Omen seemed to be the best balance of feature/inseam. It is, however, bulkier and heavier than I'd want to haul in anywhere.

If I personally really had to pick one and only one, I would probably go with the Dewpoint. It seemed to have the best feature-set, weight, etc. It held up pretty good through alot of brush in AK even. The bagginess is a little annoying, but definitely not anything I felt like I was having to worry or monitor for the entire hunt.

5’6 28x30 here. The Dewpoint in size Small fits good as Kyle mentioned. However I prefer the Kuiu Chugach raingear over the Dewpoint due to material. More durable and stretch. Dewpoints get pinholes really quick in my experience.

The newer TR is slightly longer, but still a good fit in size small. Kutana did not fit good when I tried it several years ago. Much baggier and too heavy for my needs. Chugach was much better. Size Small Chugach TR jacket and non TR pants below. Not peeing. Just standing there haha.

Yeah I’m kinda leaning towards kuiu.
I’m not as skinny as you lol. I got some more meat on me lol. I’ll see if I wait for Memorial Day to see if they go on sale.
