Also will be taking a ravin r10x In the morning it's 20 fps faster than the r10 but it's shooting the rage hypodermic nc head.

I used to use them before swapping to a 4 blade fixed (tooth of an arrow). I have one fail to open on a shoulder shot, arrow still penetrated enough to get one lunch but didn’t open. Ended up recovering the deer, but gave up on expandable after that.

I used them once on whitetail in TX. Also had a failure to open. Back to slick tricks after that. I had better luck with grim reaper when I did choose to shoot a mechanical head.

Same experience as you, haven’t seen them go over 50 yds with a decent shot. Unfortunately I can’t find anymore deep six rage heads so had to switch away

I shot a hand full of whitetail does with them, original 2 inch, worked well though all were shot in the 10 ring so anything works there!

I tried them 1 season about 10 years ago. Killed one doe and wasn't that impressed, not sure if the blades didn't open correctly or what. Shot another that i hit square in the shoulder, broadhead broke off at the threads upon impact so that was it for me. I went back to fixed for many years until I tried Sevr. I've been really happy with Sevr heads, durable and have worked everytime so far. Side note, my dad uses a rage knockoff he gets online from China I think. Pays less than $5 a head and he's Killed around 10 deer with them and they always work great.

I used to shoot the hypodermics for years with no issues. Unbelievable blood trails and never lost a deer. I switched broadheads because I wanted to try something new and not for any issues I had with rage.

I was anti Rage for years. Tried them when they went to the collar instead of the ring and they worked well.

I used the 2 blade extreme and the Hypodermics with very good success.

I've had tremendous success with rage over the last 10+ years but they met their match on my last hunt for bison. Took emptying my quiver to bring him down. I feel a little gun shy now but a bison is a massive animal so I'll still likely use them for elk and under.

I’ve shot a handful of bucks with rage hypodermics. One failure and the last time I used them. The buck was not recovered, but the ferrule broke at the beginning of the slot the blades go in. Not a single drop of blood on the carbon. A few drops of blood on the ground and never saw the deer again. It was a shoulder shot, and I assume it hit right in the knuckle right around 30 yards. Shot with a 74lb, 30” draw bow, 292fps 380gr arrows. I’ll have to dig through my old arrows to try and find it. The ones I shot through the ribs were absolutely devastating though. I’ve “spined” two bucks with them and saw no issues with the broadheads except they were bent.
Overall, I am much happier with the exodus, but a “rage in the cage” is bad medicine for deer, and my preferred broadhead for turkeys.

I’ve shot several elk with hypodermics. All have died even after a couple of subpar shots. Only downsides in my opinion are the collars. Not a fan. I’ve also had a couple blades sheer off. I assume bone contact. Never lost a animal though so…

I love the Rage Hypodermic no collars. Been an excellent broadhead for me. I run them and the G5 Deadmeat and Megameat. All great heads for me.

Rage are great till you hit the scapula. They have their place in my quiver, but I don't use them on deer anymore

I've used 1 rage expandedable frontal shot on a whitetail <20yrds as she turned I could see the blood coming out of her vital "pocket" she piled up very quickly. No issues at all worked very well. I just like aiming for a shoulder in or out. Harder to run on 3 wheels than 4
