I've owned multiple Sig Cross Rifles and a CA Ridgeline Ti. Both are great rifles.

If I had to choose between the two, and I have, I'd go with the Sig Cross. It has the modern ergos that I like, allows me to make adjustments on the fly for a smaller shooter (my son), now has more aftermarket support (proof research), and takes out some of the factors that can hinder traditional rifles from being as accurate as you may like (no bedding action, free floating barrel work).

I sold my initial Sig Cross and regretted it. I then sold my CA Ridgeline, repurchased a Sig Cross and put an 18" proof barrel on it...couldn't be more pleased.

Is the rifle cold in hand at times, yes, but my gloves are helpful there. I also like that it folds up well for backpack hunts.

All in all, I'd recommend the Sig Cross over the CA Ridgeline even though I had a positive experience with my CA rifle as well.

I’m gonna choose the sig cross.

For a lot of the reasons stated above and I’d rather hunt down the best cartridge than complete the CA barrel break in process

It’ll be next season before it gets used in a hunt . But I’m hoping to get out to a range with it after I pick it up. Just need to find a scope, etc. I wish I hadn’t sold that SWFA.

If it's anything like my experience, it'll quickly become one of your favorite setups to shoot. I currently run a 2.5x10x44 NF NXS on mine and it's a great magnification for mine (.308). Good luck and if you think about it, post a follow up once you get your rig setup.

I'd rather have the sig but would want the 6.5prc over the creedmoor so the CA for me.

I got 2 CA FFT TI rifles within the past 18 months, in 7prc and 308 and both shoot and handle fantastic. No issues with either. The 308 shoots factory cheap blue box 150's into a 1/2" group all day. The 7prc about 3/4" with factory Hornady eldm and eldx. Going to try the Federals. Neither are even broken in yet. Both just shooting off a bench with a bipod.....probably could do better with a better range set-up. Not bad for rifles that weigh 5 pounds eh? Yeah, bring those Tikka's around...lol. The Sig...spare me.

Looks like this is going to take some time. The dealer doing the raffle may end up having to square me with something else. I know the guy personally so I’m sure he’ll make it right.

Maybe you’ll get a Tikka AND a scope out of the deal ;)
