R Value through October

Looking for recommendations for R value for sleeping pad.

It would be used though October in Montana.

The 2 I’m looking closest at are the Nemo Tensor and the Exped Ultra 7r

I would go with the higher r value pad. I think the higher one you listed has a r value of seven. I use a neoair xtherm with a similar r value through all 4 seasons.

The pad is the foundation of sleeping warmth. Too much is really not a problem but too little is....good luck.
