What are the noises that come from bino harnesses you use?

What are you doing when they make the noise?

Working on sourcing fabrics and just curious what your experiences are…

Biggest noise from an agc is pulling the binos in and out… biggest thing id like to fix is add auto locks to the buckles

For me it’s something brushing against the outside. A sleeve when pulling rangefinder, putting binos back in, etc. I’m following this thread too, considering a change.

I have the 1st generation no mag marsupial. Advertised as "no loud magnet snap" which is true. However the elastic straps rub and twand like a bass banjo. Not sure how the 2nd generation are doing

I’m sure it doesn’t affect game but the small snaps and pops and groans from buckles has me replacing all of them with buckle deletes and G-hooks when I get a new one. Auto locks are awful for sound.

Honestly the best I've ever tried is the new Sitka Harness. I absolutely love it. Only one I have ever had that is quiet, with no slip or flop, and no buckle screech (doesn't use buckles).

New Stone glacier is pretty dang quiet. A little noise getting backup mag out, but by then that’s the least of my worries. Think yoga pants material.

I had one that squeaked. Just walking around it squeaked horribly. Could never locate or alleviate the squeak so I sold it.

My magnetic closing ones sometimes I get a slapping noise when the magnets close.

Did you replace the side ones too? I didn't know this we a thing from marsupial, but I did the same thing to my AGC last year on the top buckles. The sides I swapped out for auto locks because I got tired of them sliding.

I did, I use a marsupial delete on one side and a G-hook on the other. The G-hook is all I undo when taking the harness off or putting it on.

The only noise I notice is the zipper pulls clacking and clanging on my marsupial pouches.

I want a harness to be quiet and soft-touch everywhere. No dangling plastic, no Velcro, no magnets clapping, and no coarse nylon that makes that zipper sound when anything touches it.

I have a Kuiu that makes all sorts of noise. I don't really like it. I gave my wife my old MuleyFreak one. For all the drama, that was by far the best one I've used/seen. Quiet, easy to use, fast. Pockets in all the right places. Though I do like the bottom pocket attached to the Kuiu and the bendable metal top band to make it easy to drop the binos in.

Will probably try the Striver gear one next as he's local.
