Questions about Kifaru Olive Drab and Ranger Green

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a Kifaru Tarryall but I can't decide between Ranger green and OD. A couple questions need answered first.

1 - Since the OD is 1000D Cordura instead of 500D does anyone know how much the OD Tarryall weighs? I assume the weight on the website is for the 500D versions.

2 - I'm having a really difficult time getting a handle on the two colors. The ranger green often looks very brown to me. I don't have anything to compare it to. My only K pack is in foliage so no help there. Does anyone have a ranger green pack and the Kifaru ultralight pullouts that you could post a picture of the two together? I have the pullouts so that would give me a comparison.

3 - Anyone who has both RG and OD, what is your feeling on the colors?

RG is my go to color for hunting gear. You are correct that it carries more brown than OD or a khaki. It matches up perfectly with Arcteryx RG and several other outdoor clothing versions of it. I'll try to get you a pic of a pack with some pullouts after this weekend madness calms down.

vdeal, if you do a quick search here, you'll find a good thread about people discussing Kifaru's Ranger Green.

One of my concerns was if it appeared grey, as Foliage could do. I've now got both a Duplex frame and a bag in RG, and it's not grey at all - it's a really nice, muted green. Doesn't stand out as much as OD, in my opinion. And it works well as a base if you put camo pouches on top.
