What do you do with the sheds that you guys find.
Here we don't have elk and just have whitetail but I honestly haven't ever she'd hunted specificly was just curious what you guys did with them

Throw them on a pile, use the big ones as décor around the house. Find enough, you can make decent money selling them.

I usually collect them until I have a decent amount then I sell them. A gentlemen I work with buys and sells horns as a second job and it's really cool to see the unique and big antlers he comes across

We have a little log cabin down on the Kenai pen that we have totally decked out in both sheds and antlers of animals we've killed. Everything from kitchen cabinet handles/knobs, curtain rod hangers, curtain pull back hangers, hand railing coming down the stairs, dinning room chandelier (which still needs a little work), toilet paper holder, old double barrel shotgun wall hanger holder, coat hanger, you name it. I'm still trying to come up with some more uses for them as well.

This year I took 4-5 smaller sheds and cut off all of the points. I then took them to the bench grinder and put a small groove around the base and tied a piece of leather string around them. My wife is addicted to Christmas trees and I have my own hunting tree. The antler points made great tree Ornaments.
