Question About Tikka CTR Stock and 223 Mags

I need a clarification regarding using a Tikka CTR stock and magazine on a T3x Lite barreled action. I have a CTR stock and bottom metal from a 6.5CM. I would like to drop my 223 T3x Lite barreled action into this CTR stock. Do I only need to switch to CTR mags made for the 223, with no other changes or modifications? Do 223 CTR mags have the same external dimensions as a 6.5CM CTR mag, with the 223 mag only having a larger block and narrower feed lips for the shorter 223 Rem cartridge? Thanks.

I did this exact thing - new t3x .223 lite into a t3x ctr stock (with bottom metal) I pulled from a 6.5CM. I had to buy a .223 caliber specific CTR magazine (about $100). I had to remove the metal clip that was attached to the trigger before dropping the barreled action into the stock. While I was at it, I brought the trigger pull all the way down.
It works great, but the magazine is a little loose. It doesn't fall out or anything though. I have been loading .223 rounds at 2.260" and 2.335" with 73gr eldm. I am trying 77 TMK next though because I couldn't get a decent sub-moa group with TAC. The rounds chamber so smooth, you don't even feel it pick it up.

Here's the rifle. I wanted it to be as much like a CTR as possible, so I picked up some OEM parts off ebay - the oversized bolt handle & the CTR picatinny rail.

Looks like a winner! I have 8208XBR and TAC powder I want to try. But also have CFE223 and Varget if needed. I won't likely hunt with this rifle, so will probably use 75/73 Hornady ELD-Ms as they are cheaper and readily available here. I do have 77TMKs and SMKs on hand as well. Heck, I'd be just fine with the cheaper Hornady 75 BTHP...since this is my "training" rifle.

Has anyone tried running .204 out of .223 CTR mags? Looking at putting a stock with ctr bottom metal that I bought second hand on a t3 lite 204. Trying to decide between buying the CTR .223 mag or the atlas worx aics conversion
