My buddy and I are interested in doing a pronghorn hunt in Montana in the next few years or so. Will start the bonus point buying this month. In the meantime, I've dived into doing some preliminary research on hunting districts and tag drawing. When I look at the districts map, I see units 700-705 in the SE part of the state. However, on the 2023 Drawing Statistics Report, I don't see results for the 700 series districts, the highest numbered district on the results report is 690-20. What am I missing/doing wrong?

Thanks in advance.

In 2023 region 7 was one unit, This year region 7 is divided into two units. One north of the Yellowstone and one south. The 2023 stats do not apply anymore.

As mentioned above, prior to this year all Region 7 HD for purposes of Antelope were grouped into three codes - 900-20 (archery either sex), 007-20 (either sex) and 007-30 (doe/fawn).

Beginning this year, there are six codes. A betting man would say that the quotas are likely to be decreased in the four or so years it will likely take for you to draw. Good luck.
