For those Sam's Club members out there, I recently replaced several worn out "Dad" cargo shorts with some WeatherProof brand trail shorts from Sam's Club. I bought 3 pairs for $49 and so far am very impressed. They're made from a type of rip-stop material and have a stretch waist (not elastic old man style 
) that is very comfortable. I'm 6'1, 225, with an athletic build (for a 47 year old) and the 36M fits perfect. My favorite feature is the vertical zipper pocket on the right side in front of the main pocket. It is the perfect size to discreetly stow a money clip or just your ID, card, and a handful of folded bills without having to haul around a bi or tri fold wallet.
