Thanks @Formidilosus for taking the time to do the evaluation! Looks pretty solid for the drop portion. My hope is Maven/LOW are now using a system that might be robust enough.

That sucks the turret is jumping the zero stop. Is it like the rs1.2 that has 2 pins that contact to stop? Did you try setting the zero stop at 0 then see if it still skips it on the 2nd revolution?

.5 mil off on tracking at 7 mils is not good.

What did you think of the parallax setting?

Have you checked the tracking on yours?
It's not been shot. The ring failures delayed that, I plan to tomorrow. It wasn't a priority of the few others I have because I knew yours was sent. These results warrant kicking it ahead of some other range tasks.

The zero stop is not pin on pin, it's like a tooth in a groove. (If I remember right)

sweet! What rings did you end up with now? Hopefully yours tracks better!

Can you rephrase what was happening with the zero stop?
I want to try and replicate it tomorrow and am unclear.

Dialing up and down from 0 to stop on the second rev- back and forth, back and forth; it somehow jumps the zero stop pin and ring, and while on the second rev- it jumps it, making it mechanically on the first rev- so you are stuck at 10 mils high.

The design looks like the Trijicon 1-10x- which doesn’t mean that they are “the same”; but much like the 3-18x Tenmile and the RS1.2, it may mean that it’s in a proven design. My supposition is that zero retention at initially will be fine, long term is a question as that is where “features” start showing problems.

No- totally different system. I will get pics or a video up maybe. It’s slick what it does, but like adding more gadgets do- it opens the door for more problems.

No, that’s not good, and quite frankly with this scope there isn’t really an excuse for it- it’s meant to be dialed.

Clarify please.

This is what I get, are you seeing a whoopsie doing this or am I confused?

Hopefully some of these issues are simply QC related, because the general spec's could make it THE scope for someone who want the ability to do close range/drive hunting all the way to extended range in a mountain environment with one rifle. Will be following the test closely. Only bummer is the cost, would be happy if they dropped a couple features, if it brought it down to RS1.2 pricing.

When going into the second revolution, and past until the elevation stops, and then back.

I believe this is the cause- it is not round.

That ring goes around the turret housing, around the zero stop and rev ring.

You can see the metal ring just to the right of the zero stop pin and in the groove.

That pin rotates around with the turret and rotates the ring onto the second rev-

It seems that metal ring got bent somehow and popped out of the groove in some way. I’m not actually sure what it is for- taking it out does not seem to effect function that I can tell.

Looked today and didn’t see more than about 1/2” to 3/4” parallax at 100 yards.
Is that normal for a fixed parallax scope?
It seems to work both with it in (I tried to bend it back round), and with it out.
Am I getting this correct? During the rtz eval it worked one time then the second time it stuck until you pulled the turret and reset. Then it worked one more time and then stuck again? That ring was coming out of the groove and causing the bind?
