PWS black bear

My son with his first black bear. Taken in Prince William Sound on 5/10. A fairly small bear, but it has probably the best fur I’ve ever seen on a bear.

Very cool and congrats to him! I'll be getting out into PWS in 10 days for another round of fishing and hunting. PWS is one of my favorite areas in AK.

Congrats to your son! Father/son moments like that are what it's all about. I love seeing photos of those early spring hides in the sound, and it doesn't need to be a 6 or 7 footer to be a prize.
