Pulleys. Game bags and bear bags

Pack a pull. Hung two deer with it last year. Easy if you have gloves. If you don’t, wrapping a stick and using it worked well. Just have several sticks.

This is what I have been looking at. Climbing pulleys are even more expensive than hunting gear! ha. Have you used the Pack A Pull before?
Yes, easy to use and much lighter than the climbing gear my buddy carries. I also take two miniature very old Wild Country mini ascenders. They come in handy for tying/winching stuff off quickly.

Thanks! I really appreciate it Have you used if for elk quarters? Do you keep them attached to the pulleys or tie off?

We almost always and always on pack hunts bone out. Everything goes into game bags, gets hoisted and left hanging on the pulleys. Between two guys and two setups we can usually get it all up. Sometimes some goes into a creek and covered with rocks to try to hide from the bears as we are shuttling it out.

Did you hang them whole? By yourself? Do you hang quarters and keep it attached to the pulley and tie off to do another quarter?
Yes. They were does. Not huge either. Younger deer too. Yes. By myself. No. If I understand you right. I attached one of the hooks to each quarter. And had each hook rigged without own rope. I paired both tag ends, pulled them up, wrapped a sapling and tied off.
