I would go with the Attack Pants next followed by the Chugach pants.

Yes, the Kratos is a nice jacket. Functions well as a, mid layer insulation piece, or even outer later when the cold isn't brutal.

If you like jackets with an athletic cut it will fit well too.

I have been wearing the llbean UL 850 with treated down. Pleased with jacket. Decent in blocking wind. I feel it breathes well too. Colors offered arent great for hunting but under a jacket it won't show.

Golite has some good options.

This is an update to the post I did on page 5 (Some more real use data). I received a new jacket and the zipper on this one seems to work a lot better. Customer service did confirm they will be adding a softer material to the inner collar of the Chugach shirt. They also repaired the Kanab pants I tore and did an excellent job, I keep hoping they will add a left rear pocket. Great Customer Service!

Mine is just under 20 oz in size Medium. Not the lightest primaloft jacket but its 100 g/m2 and has a tough outer shell. I like it enough to not see the need to upgrade my syn puffy coat in the last nearly 5 years.

Luke,
I am also curious about the weight of the supercub.

As luke said they are a tough jacket. The old man has been wearing mine and he loves it. If your thinking about one give the guys at Barney's a call. Last time I checked they were looking at working with a new company to make new ones for this up coming fall.

I got my dad to weigh it and size large is 22oz

Anything ever come on the C4E front? Camofire has a C4E day today and I have been eyeing the Summit and Elevation jackets, though First Light in brown might fit the bill nicely.

Scott (or anyone), I don't suppose First Lite has disclosed the weight the insulation they use in the Uncompahgre? They've declined to answer my emails on the subject, and I'm not prepared to just take them at their word that it provides a certain level of performance.
