Public , uh I mean Government Lands, OTC, first archery bull. It was a great hunt and I was so happy I could call in this bull for her.

This one came galloping in to twenty yards with three of his buddies close behind. He may not be the biggest on the mountain but probably the closest to the truck!

OTC Colorado. Best way to make a bull look bigger is to have your wife hold the antlers. She decided a better backpack was worth the money after that trip.

These are all public land bulls my buddy and I have shot since 2015. There is 2 missing. One that we jumped off the road and my buddy shot about a mile from camp on his last few minutes of hunting for the season. Pretty lucky and loaded whole in the UTV. The other is one my buddy shot in 2015. It was his first ID bull and second bull elk ever. Two of these were draw tags for rifle but it is OTC for bow in that unit. We've also shot 6 or so cows since 2015. I love buying non-resident tags to double up on hunting opportunities. Speaking of which, if you residents and non-residents haven't bought a second tag in ID your chances of getting a non-designated tag are about gone already. I bought mine at 5:10am on 8/1 as we grabbed coffee on the way out to kill a cow and a under 6" spike (yes they are legal on a anterless hunt here in ID) on a greenfield hunt with a my dad and a buddy. They posted the morning of 8/2 that there were only 688 non-designated tags left.
