Ok first post ever, long time lurker. Appreciate the forums and the honest reviews by members whom are here to help, inform, have an open mind and value all opinions.

My nearest experienced bow shop is 3 hrs away and still have yet to obtain a Levitate for preview purposes. I’m looking for real life experiences/reviews on the draw cycle. I’ve watched YouTube videos from Lancaster, Podium Archery and a few others but looking to y’all for some real life hands on feedback.
The last thread in regards to this went down a rabbit hole of price, politics, competitors and china but it was pretty close to launch date. Hoping more people have had some time behind these bows and can share input.
My specs are 27.5” draw try to stay in the 62-65 draw weight dependent on bow. Hunting only but love to tinker and tune so plenty of practice year round.
Thanks in advance!

I’ve shot one many times and just find it hard to draw for a given draw weight. Other than that, it’s a really nice bow, dead in the hand, quiet, and so light. Build quality is nice as well. It’s just not for me, but I think we’ve sold every one we received in just a few days which is surprising for the price tag.

Yeah that’s what I was afraid of, I understand the speed has to come from some where. I’ve already been through right shoulder surgery and hunt in primarily MN, ND and WI and it’s not uncommon to hunt cold so I don’t need frozen bones trying to draw an over aggressive draw cycle while maintaining stealth. Thank you sir!

Not sure if this helps but I have to set my Hoyt RX5 Ultra 6.5# heavier than my Levitate to get both bows to shoot the same arrow at the same speed. For me it is easier to draw the Levitate set 6# lighter than the RX5U, and I would prefer it when hunting in freezing weather. They are two very different bows and I’m not trying to say one is better than the other. The point is you don’t have to shoot two different bows at the same draw weight. I like to compare bows set up to shoot a given arrow at the same speed. Yes the Levitate has a more aggressive draw cycle than a slower bow at the same draw weight, but you might actually like it more at a lower draw weight and still get the same speed with the same arrow.

I hear ya there I was at 68# with my RX3 no issues with draw cycle but went to a V3 and had it at 62# between both, my sight pins needed very incremental change when I swapped sight. My thought was to try the levitate at 60# limbs. I know everyone’s thoughts and feel is different and the only true measure is shooting the bow but these pandemic inventories sure are frustrating!!
Thanks for the response!
