PSE bow

I was planning to upgrade my PSE Mach 34 to a Mach 33 DS or 30 DS. Is it worth the upgrade? How much does a picatinny rail help with the balance of the bow? Is it noticeable?

I’ve got both and greatly prefer the updates with the Mach 33. It’s not as much about how the sight mounts cause that is negligible in my opinion. It does help you add the two piece quiver that bolts to the new roller guard keeping the bow light and the quiver tight against the bow. For me the 33” is just faster and more refined than the Mach 34. I’ve got a more firm back wall on my 33 and getting better speeds outs of the 33. The 34 is a really great bow and if you were just upgrading to get the pic mount I’m not sure that factor alone is worth it but when you combine with the other items then it’s a worthy change. My opinion of course. Also now that the FDS cam is out I’ll be upgrading my Mach 33 to the FDS cam system to pick up even more speed and improve draw.

I sold my 30 (E2 cams) and picked up a 34 with E2 cams. I have a 31" draw so YMMV but I find the 34 to hold better, have a more comfortable string angle and be much more accurate for me. Only lost 3-4fps going to the longer bow as well. I have not tried the 33.
