We just got our meat back from our favorite processor: Steamboat Meat and Seafood, and it would appear that this year they began subcontracting their processing out to Brother's in Craig. On top of that they raised the price, most likely to cover the cost of transporting to/from Craig. You could save yourself some money ($75) and take it straight to Craig. This is unfortunate as Steamboat was the best one we'd found in the area; however I think they are a USDA facility so I could see why they are doing it, especially during archery season when there probably isn't a ton of volume coming through the door.
