Silencerco lists the weight of their Hybrid 46 DTM as 14.1 oz.

Apparently they do not include the weight of the bravo direct thread mount in their spec, which is absurd as it is a required component. Here's the weight without the bravo mount (end cap removed but on the scale):

And the bravo mount by itself:

I'm not terribly pleased. Sure, 2.15 oz isn't that much, but it's kind of a lot on top of an already heavy can on the end of the barrel. This is a real chunk at 16.5 oz. If I had realized this prior to purchasing and putting some rounds through it I would have ponied up for a lighter option like an AB Raptor.

Hope this helps someone, I did not find this information when I was initially researching this suppressor.

It’s actually not uncommon for weights to be listed without the mount. You have to read the fine print.

Oh ok - does it say this somewhere on Silencerco's website? If so, I couldn't find it - apologies if it's there and I just didn't see it.

I have not looked at this exact can, nor the mfg website. Where I have seen it is on silencer shop. I got burned on a OCL can as I didn’t notice how it was weighed. Really disappointed in it. I agree it’s deceitful marketing as you can’t use a can without a mount.

I think people like us and airlock are going to put the hurt on a lot of can mfg. just wish they would make mid/big bore cans.

Sorry to hear that on the OCL can. But appreciate hearing your experience, it's good to know that in general I need to carefully check to see what items are included in the weight of suppressors, the issue is not just isolated to this one. Thank you!

Agreed on the big bore cans - not that many great options (yet)

For a 375 can, the AB raptors are quite good. I tend to run them as DT now as the reflexes are so heavy. Unfortunately they won’t do a 45 cal version. When I have asked they simply say, that they won’t do it as people will buy it as a do it all can and be disappointed.

That’s lame of them. They make a titanium cap which could save some weight but it’s still ridiculous and as mentioned, deceptive on behalf of the company.
