Just a reminder to anybody who may not know already.
Your backpack strap is not the right place for your SOS device. I frequently drop my pack for all sorts of reasons while hunting. Keep it in your pocket, bino harness (if you never take it off unless you're asleep), hanging around your neck, tucked in your sock like you're on house arrest, whatever you have to do to keep it IN REACH at all times.
Don't put it down anywhere out of reach. It can't save your life if you can't put your hands on it.
