Looking for recs for a .284 bullet that has a bullet profile that works well with the factory chamber design on proofs 7PRC chamber. Was hoping for a CX or LRX load due to being in CA but would consider lead options as well and could switch back to my 6.5 PRC for here in CA.
Getting SDs of 7-12 over 10 shots so load seems happy with gunwerks brass and H4831SC but it doesn’t group great with either 160gr bullet. Tried H1000, RL22, and N568 as well to no avail. Hoping it’s not just the barrel. Best groups are about 1” for 3-5 shots which I know is plenty fine but just being picky.
Also, I consistently shoot my 6 GT and dasher sub .5MOA for 10 shots and my .300 WM at .5-.75” for 5 so my fundamentals should be solid.
