Will be using some Maven 10x42's and a 15x45x65 spotter on it. Eventually will be adding a Meopta s2 82mm. Looking for something i can occasionally use standing up. Does anyone have experience using either one of the Tripods?

I've ran an XC525C for years. Does everything I need and then some. How tall are you? Very few tripods are tall enough for standing use for me at 6'3" but an angled spotter helps with that. I did a buy once, cry once. XC525C with an Outdoorsmans pan head. Done.

I’ve got the slik 733 and it’s excellent. I think it would be a little heavier and beefier than the 525, although I haven’t used them both to compare. I do have a 522 aluminum version. It’s great, but the slik feels like higher quality. 733 is heavy but perfect for front country especially if there is any wind

cameraland running special sirui ,promaster and slik, just ordered sirui va5 and n1204 tripod. It is a little heavier and sturdier than the 525 but sirui has other tripods that compare

Maven C1 with the Promaster xc525c with spch-20 head combo from Cameraland is awesome. Absolutely love that setup. I stand with it sometimes at 6’.

Currently running the promaster XCM 525C w/ Sirui VA-5 head for my angled Meopta S2 82mm it is a phenomenal set-up. (No experience with Slick 734 to compare). Have no issue standing with plenty of room to left to raise higher ( I’m 5’ 7”).
