I am using Hornady brass for my 6.5 PRC. I am using RL26 and 147 grain ELD-M bullets. Has anyone shown swipes on pretty much all their brass no matter the load. I am using what I would call a mild load of RL26 at 53.8 grains. No weird primers and no heavy or mild bolt lift at all.

I'm thinking I need to go with different brass.

Sounds like soft brass. I’ve used Hornady before, and it’s not that bad. Certainly not Lapua quality, but very usable.

I’m just going to run it as long as it will let me. Then look for a different source. I’m only on twice fired now.

I've been loading 6.5 PRC in Hornady brass with Ramshot magnum and RL25, no trouble yet until I approach maximum. Maybe try a different powder? I've had RL26 show early pressure signs before...

I’ve seen a lot of (what looks like) lamination marks on new Hornady brass lately. I’ve honestly had better luck with the cheap PRVI brass from Grafs. I’ve used a bunch of it in quite a few different calibers and haven’t ever had a problem. Seems like great stuff at a great price point.

I have been loading Hornady brass in .280 Rem. frequently going above listed max loads until pressure signs start to appear during load development. No issues with the brass so far.
