Problem with Hanwags what can I do?

I recently bought a pair of Mountainlite GTXs from a forum member. They were not worn and were brand-new but I bought secondhand. I wore them around the house in order to ensure they fit, but today was the first day I wore them in the woods. Unfortunately the right boot leaks around the toe. So now I'm stuck with a brand-new pair of boots, well almost, but they leak.. Anyone have suggestions? The were bought originally from Lathrop and Sons. Am I screwed because I am not the original buyer!

Those boots are not 100% water proof. What do you mean by a "leak"?

When I step in 2-3 inches of water, within seconds I feel moisture coming in near my small toe in the right boot. Doesn't get soaked because I removed my foot since I was on a hunt.
