Problem solved - Barrett Fieldcraft trigger contacting guard and not cocking

When reassembling my Fieldcraft, the trigger is pushing up against the side of the trigger guard. Then when I go to cock the rifle, the trigger stays "pulled" and it won't cock. This obviously renders the rifle useless, as well as potentially dangerous.

The other issue I'm having is when I torque the front screw past about 60 in-lbs, the bolt will not cycle.

Any suggestions what to check?

I think it is catching on the mag well. When I install it without it, it works fine

Whew. Crisis averted. A few layers of tape on the front of the mag well fixed it.
