SRP (especially CCI 41s) have had fairly frequent availability on midway and brownells for a couple months now.

The br4 primers are their match small rifle primers. The br2 primers are their match version of the 200’s. Honestly between them and federal match VS non match I haven’t noticed a difference. But they were available and at the same price!
Okay thanks. I've never felt I needed a reason to use anything other than 200's I guess. But I can always learn!

Not normal that the BR stuff is the same price but certainly a bonus, same for the 34 or 41 primers.

There is a little difference in the BR4 by way of cup thickness compared to the 400, not sure if that's all. That matters to me because I'll use 450 or BR4 in my 300 AAC AR-15 but not 400. I have no idea how/if that matters in a bolt gun. I don't know anything about BR2 vs 200.

The local stores around here get them periodically but they don't come in high quantities and they don't last long.

The biggest problem is that the majority of the companies that produce primers also produce loaded ammo. The mark up on primers is pretty much non existent so they can either sell primers and make a ~1-2% profit or they can put it behind 4 grains of powder and 115 grains of lead and sell it for a 50% mark up. I am no expert, but I know which one I would choose.

They are showing up again in TX, not consistent but I have a local store that had about 1500+ CCI 450's in the 100packs at $7.60 ea + Tax. I picked up 500 because I wasn't ready to drop $80 for the full 1K. But I'll likely go back and buy the other 500 in a couple weeks if they are still there.

Days later my Dad calls from Victoria Texas and he checked a local store. CCI small pistol primvers $8.00 per 100pack, and they had a good powder selection to boot. Had him grab me 3 packs of pistol primers, 2lb H110, and 2lb CFE BLK for my new 300BLK pistol I just built. Power was just under $50/lb but it's the first I've seen of primer and powder in a year. I was happy to get it so I can get shooting this fall in 300BLK.

Academy had 2 boxes of 190 SUB-X projectiles last month. I wanted both, but could only get one at the time. That should allow me to load 100 300BLK sub for about $0.70/rd at current component prices after I guy some converted 556 brass. You could do worse :)
