How do you change the draw length on a newer Prime? Do you have to change out the cams or is there mods? Is it cheap? I'm looking at possibly buying a used Rize but I need a slightly shorter DL...

Whole different cam for Primes...they are in 1/2" increments and on the Rival and Rize the cams run a bit longer than stated if running max 85% let-off. For example, a #3 PCXL cam for a 29" draw will give you about a 29-3/8" (or slightly more) draw length at 85% let-off. If you adjust it to less let-off the draw length is shorter. The Rival and Rize use the same cams, but more recent models (Centergy and Logic) are different as are the earlier Primes.

Ok, awesome. So you suggest if I'm looking at's Rize's to get one with half an inch smaller DL than I usually use (if I want to use the full let off)?

You need to know your exact draw length so you get the correct cam on a Rize or Rival set at 85% let off as they are longer as stated above, but no way to know if your present bow also runs long (or short)?
