Primaloft Jacket 150g

I got caught in a light down pour today. The jacket did pretty good shedding water. Only the cuffs wetted out.

I am 6' 0" and 195 lbs. I am typically between a L and XL, I ordered an XL and definitely did not regret sizing up. As mentioned above, it runs shorter than my Sitka Ambient.

Overall, definitely worth $50 IMO.

Mine came in yesterday as well 5’11 180 and usually wear between a med and large. Got the large and glad I did. For $50 it squashed my desires for an ambient or the GH atmosphere (I had the hots for it bad).

I received mine today and I normally wear large jackets. I sized up to XL and it fits more like a medium. Like maybe a Youth XL or something? Amazingly small for XL.

On the plus Returns from rogers is a breeze and free return shipping so I returned and ordered a couple in XXL, one brown one bottomland because it is really an impressive jacket for $50 compared to Ambient etc. and seems quality about as good as any. Primaloft evolve is awesome for an active layer really a nice jacket. Skimpy large weighed in at 15.5oz btw.
snappy magnet pocket indeed.

I tried to start a return today as mine is way to small. How long did it take them to review your exchange claim and get you a return label?

I processed the return for a refund and placed a new order. “Review” was completed near instantaneously and shipping label created in a moment.

Day they got my return , the new one shipped out. As for the sizing, if you are borderline on your size, go up one size, maybe two if you want it to be an outer layer. They definitely run small.

Received the 2XL today and fit is good. For me it was two sizes up. Cut seems more for a guy with shorter arms and a bigger belly than myself being athletic build with broad shoulders and long arms but it’s servicable. The material stretches easily to accommodate overhead arm motions. Plenty of room in the midsection will pair perfectly with a puffy vest underneath

I’m impressed with the primaloft active insulation it feels amazingly soft, very lofty and warm. This feels like a very versatile insulation piece that fits in for most hunting situations.
The ripstop face fabric is lightweight and may not be super durable but it is not loud at all and the cuffs accommodate shooting a bow

This jacket must have been designed for Sponge Bob Square Pants (no insult meant to anyone this cut fits).
Almost zero taper to the waist, very square body and extremely short sleeves.

I'm 5'8", 41 chest w/33 pant waist and typically wear a medium. Other posters advised sizing up, so I ordered a large in this jacket. Despite going up one size to a large, the sleeves were only about 31" long and they should have been closer to 34" long. The jacket body was so large at the waist it was almost flapping around.

I returned the one I bought. No way I was sizing up to XL.

Final Approach has 20D nylon ripstop jackets marked down to $50. It was $100. Pretty damn good deal for a jacket that has 150g of Primaloft evolve. Very similar to the Sitka Ambient Jacket.

Very warm and it’s become an every day wearer of mine. I still own my Sitka Ambient Hoodies however, for the price tag of this jacket it’s definitely well worth the $50 bucks.

What is the total weight of the jacket?

My XL weighed in at 15.5oz but had to return for XXL. Normally wear a large I had to go up 2 sizes. And yea it’s cut for spongebob or a guy with a belly. Would be nice if this active layer had better athletic fit to leave on with a baselayer and then add more layers on top instead of having to take it off and layer underneath. The big body cut it Layers a puffy vest underneath perfect though and that combo will be too warm for activity in most conditions and can definitely still put an outer layer over that. hopefully Jacket/vest is still breathable enough for light activity in COLD weather. This Jacket alone is very warm and I’d say weight/warmth ratio is excellent for synthetic and as an active layer if the weather is cold enough.

Been enjoying it in the mornings at mid 40s.

Well RD costs me more money yet again... while I was there I picked up some duck decoys too lol. I hope I don't have to return it, got the XL and I'm thinking there's zero chance now because I'm usually a L with no extra layers and an XL if I add stuff underneath.
