German Mauser 98 8x57 from WWII and brought back by my Grandfather in 1946. I'm told he traded some food for it. Was the first gun I ever shot. Pretty to me.

That really is one of the most beautiful guns I've ever seen. That is a dream of mine. I unfortunately don't have any old family members that own something like that!!

That was a FeldJager's rifle..because they were hunters before the war they were turned into snipers and allowed to use their personal rifles. That is a priceless treasure right there!!

Wanted to get this to the top and hopefully see some more pretty pieces. Have many, kinda been drawn to this one recently after sorting through the safe.
Winchester 70 6.5x55 CRF. I need to get some glass on it and see how it performs.
As I rearranged my safe, and found many old beauties and I started to think about the value we all have in many of these pretty guns. My question is....will these older, collector type guns retain their value with interest seeming to wane with the younger generations? I’m an avid collector of many and hope the interest continues.

That is a gem Mack! Hoping to have another to add to the thread sometime this summer. Got the top inletting nearly complete. I have a pretty nice blank arriving this week for my defiance build, but it will be a year out probably.

This is definitely my favorite rifle I’ve ever owned not only because of the good looks but also because it’s one of the most consistently accurate rifles I’ve ever owned. It’s a cooper m54 montana varminter 22-250.

Funny you bring this up. Once spring rolled around, I got to busy to carry on with it. This is where I left it this past spring, and just pulled it back out here to start trying to remember where I left off at.

The blank I had ordered got turned around and the boarder (I’m in Canada), and haven’t ordered another yet. I’ll need to figure something out soon though as this .22 build won’t last me this winter lol. This stock is sorta a prototype in a way, to see how I like the cheek piece on my cheek side. If it turns out to fit well, I may do the same for the next stock, which will be for one of my defiance builds.

Iv done two from semi inletted stocks, and this one is my first from a raw blank. This particular blank my grandad ordered in 1952, so it’s been sitting around a while lol.

Just a savage, but it is incredibly accurate. 22-250 AI.

I think it's pretty. 1968 German Mk V in 7mm Wby Mag. My grandpa won it in a raffle at a Forest Service banquet and never shot it. He gave it to me as a high school graduation present in 2002. It's the first and probably only thing I would grab if my house was on fire.
