Prescreening to purchase firearm

Went in , and asked what I was wanting to purchase , long gun or handgun , had me filling out paper while he was on his computer , ran through in about 5 min said approved and said let me know when you purchase and gave me a card with they’re email in case the online store needed their info (again) , like I believed mentioned above sometimes some people go parallel and there is no further effort , thanks again folks
