Powder availability

Just starting out with my .300wsm and 6.5 creedmoor, but obviously having a hell of a time finding powder. Anyone got a line on anything that will work for these calibers. Obviously the holy grail h4350 is about impossible at the moment. H4831? Rl26 or 16? Imr something?

I've been checking locally in SW CO often, but nothing has been in stock so far.

Also looking for primers, large rifle.

W760, H414 has been easier to find so I’ve been rolling with that until I stumbled onto 4lbs RL26.

W760 has been really go to for a few years, nice thing is it’s decent for 6.5, 308, few others in the short family as well. It’s not the fastest on the list, but the crossover between cartridges is handy.

Midway had some in stock today, not sure how long it will last

Just got my 8lb jug of H4350 in the mail today from the Hodgdon factory- was in stock a week ago. Keep your eye out- got the information they had it on here.

Midsouth shooters supply had H4350 in both 1 and 8 pounders for most of the day yesturday.

It is possible to find with some luck.

Just keep at it. You will find some.

I used H4831 in m 300WSM with great accuracy and decent speed.

I found a pound of varget but was $40 first I have seen in awhile.

I live in Mendocino county, and the only place I know that sells powder has full shelves. Not the powder I wanted, though.

I personally prefer Rl16 in my 6 and 6.5CM over H4350. I have also found that I prefer RL26 in my magnum stuff over H1000. H4831 is great powder for both calibers, but you won't be setting any speed records with it.

Local fleet store just got 2 - 8 lb jugs of H4350 and a bunch of 1 lb jugs. If your patient you'll find it.

Got 1lb of h4350 this morning from midsouth. Hopefully I can get some local and not have to pay hazmat shipping again!
