Hello All,

I have the opportunity to purchase a slightly used dragonfly for about $70. I don’t have hands on it yet and was curious what size pots you guys put it in? Or if there are other ways you like to pack the stove. I usually like to nest my stuff together but am open to other options. I’ve done a search and it seems I will need a 2L pot but wanted to see what others have come up with. Thanks!

2L is huge, for a backpack. My Peak stove and fuel canister, both, fit in a .7L pot

Yeah it is. I have a small soto stove and cup for most trips. This will be used for some international travel and winter/large group trips where we may actually do some real cooking. Just trying to see what I can store it in for traveling.

I have a Dragonfly for winter use and I think I use a 1 liter pot. Its not the most convenient stove to pack for sure. But if its really cold then the performance of the dragonfly makes up for all the extra fuss over a canister stove.

I’ve had a dragonfly for a couple years but just started taking it along a few weeks ago. Couple photos for size reference. The pots an msr titan 1L. It’s a nice stove.
