Pope and Young or not?

I shot this bull with a rifle, but for reference, I believe he would also be short of P&Y. I had him at about 255".

FWIW, I would call any young 4, 5, or 6 point bull a "raghorn." Last year, in Wyoming, I saw a 6 point that was proportional but the same beam length as a normal 4 point. Still a raghorn.

I happily shoot raghorns and cows. Every elk is one to be proud of.

@Caseknife It's just the lighting. The only char there is what I did in the plaque.

That's a nice Freezer & Stove bull. Excellent tablefare. Keep hunting and don't worry what it scores until you shoot a 300+ bull.
