I don't understand, you want to see the consensus on a .223 shooting a 77 TMK on big game? The forum that literally has dozens of threads and 1000s of posts on this?
It has a bunch of people discussing, not votes. I've noticed how forum conversations tend to go, and the result of how many actually feel when a poll is done can be quite different. Not to mention some people are more comfortable voting than taking the time to voice their opinion.

Go look at some of the members of Congress before placing more value on votes than thousands of documented kills and wound channels.

This poll is meant to gauge public opinion, not to influence my opinion on the subject which was formed years in advance. I'm a huge fan of the 77 tmk and would use it for anything in na.

I've already seen over 600 pages of that thread, so no. not really. This was just me being curious about how other members felt, which is apparently some giant sin around these parts. I sincerely apologize for my bad behavior.
Man we are just playing around. There are a couple guys on here that we know have burner accounts and make posts like this just to aggravate us back...

But yes My vote is a 223 with TMK is extremely effective on any game in North America within 400ish yards. The 22creed is showing even more promising on the posts i've seen and couple of the guys I've talked to. The only reason a 22creed or 223 is not my full time elk, deer rifle is 1. Caliber restrictions in Colorado, and 2. the places I hunt offer very few opportunities and often those opportunities are at a distance greater than 400. So I choose to use a Fast 6mm most of the time.

Ok now I get it. Thought I was getting jumped for no reason 😂

No sir, its that and there are a couple topics that Rokslide as a hole have discussed ad nauseam such as "rifle setups under $1500", "most reliable scope", ".223 TMK" and it seems dailey a guy joins and that's their first question, and they didn't take the time to research like you did on the 600 pages of 223 thread. A lot of us are bored smart @sses with nothing to do till spring. And for myself I should remember not long ago I was the new guys asking the questions...

Reminds me of my peacock bass group I used to be a part of. There was a wealth of information stickied in our group regarding their common ranges, and tactics used to entice them to bite and yet every 3/5 questions from new guys to the group was "where are there peacock bass?" and "how do I catch them!"

Eventually we went from being supportive of newcomers asking these questions to downright hostile because they because so commonplace and grating.

So now thinking about it I can understand how a poll like this might make some people cranky.
