POLE SAWS, BRAND,BATTERY, GAS?

I got my BIL hooked on Milwaukee Fuel and he just bought their pole saw and loves it. Haven't had the chance to use it yet, but I am sure it works just like all of their cordless tools. Of course, if you already have invested in a certain brand I would stay with that brand for battery compatibility.

I use the Silky Hayauchi extendable pole saw. I like it better than the gas ones. Lighter and cuts very well. don't have to worry about a dead battery or the gas going bad while sitting.

I have a $60 Harbor Freight electric extendable one - works great. Run it off a Honda gen when in the woods.

I've taken down real trees with that thing - very happy with it. Have the matching 14-inch electric chain saw too.

I don’t own but but have put several hours on a Stihl pole saw (gas). Worked great. If I were going to buy one it would be that.

I rented one last week to do all of our trees. I was thankful we have a 22' orchard ladder, between it and the 16' extending pole saw we got 'er done. I was topping 32' aspens.
The pole saw was $10.60 to rent for the weekend.
