I have hand loaded 223 in mass but now want to work on my skill set with 7mm-08. I am trying to come up with a game plan for hunting loads and range practice loads. I have read many comments on the Hornady 139 SST and the 139 Interbond having the same POI. That is really pretty cool for cost savings. Is there a similar Nosler option. I have some 140 Accubonds and am wanting to know if there is another Nosler bullet (more affordable) that would have a similar POI as the accubond? Gracias

I've used all four bullets mentioned to kill deer, elk, bears, etc. Shoot whichever ones are most accurate and game-appropriate. Accubonds and Interbonds perform almost exactly the same on game. SST's are a bit stouter than Ballistic Tips, but not enough to notice in most situations.

My wife has killed a bunch of elk with 139 SST'S out of her 7mm-08. Never had an issue with accuracy, expansion, or penetration. Before that I loaded 140 Ballistic Tips for that gun, they worked well too. She used a 150 ABLR last fall and had a 1 shot kill on a nice muley and a cow elk. The 7mm 08 is easy on bullets and hard on animals.
