Need a rife for Washington st muleys and blacktail. Budjet under $1K. Ruger go wild in 6.5 CM thoughts?

6.5 cm is a good choice. Take your time and get the rifle that feels best to you. For me it’s the Tikka over the Ruger.

If I was you, looking at under $800... you can find the Vortex LHT on sale for that... the 3-15x range is perfect for a wide scale of ranges and still lightweight enough to not be stupid crazy.
