For a rimfire pistol, it is loud. It isn’t louder than any of my 9mm pistols. Noticeably louder than my browning buck marks. Is it possible to quantify "loud AF"? Compared to what? Can't be the loudest.

Huh? What?….Is it possible to quantify "loud AF"? Compared to what? Can't be the loudest.
Of all the guns we have the PMR30 is easily my wife's favorite to shoot. She's not all that in to guns like my daughter or I am and if you asked her which is her favorite to shoot she couldn't tell you its specific name. She would just say it's that weird looking one that has a really big bang! lolI like the little beastie enough to give it a holster. Bought this thing primarily as a camp gun that my wife and daughter can easily shoot, and as a gun to help keep my bird dogs out of trouble with toothed mammals when hiking and hunting. Seems to fit that bill pretty well. Very happy with the reliability thus far, even with cheap bulk ammo. The darned thing is so much fun that I may have to buy another for my wife and daughter to use.
My wife is about the same with respect to interest in and knowledge of guns, although she used to help quarter and pack game and still helps butcher. The PMR30 is, hands down, my ugliest gun. And it’s definite a loud little beastie.Of all the guns we have the PMR30 is easily my wife's favorite to shoot. What brand is the holster?I picked up a simple chest holster for the little beastie. Nothing fancy or expensive. It seems to ride pretty well behind my Marsupial Gear bino harness. I suspect most people on the trail won’t even notice I have it on. It’s a really nice, light-weight set up.

It was a guy in WA who sells his stuff off Etsy and EBay under dkholstersllcom. There aren’t a lot of options out there for PMR30 chest holsters. He did a nice job with it, and it was about half the cost of a gunfighter chest holster. What brand is the holster?
Awesome thank you!It was a guy in WA who sells his stuff off Etsy and EBay under dkholstersllcom. There aren’t a lot of options out there for PMR30 chest holsters. He did a nice job with it, and it was about half the cost of a gunfighter chest holster.
Only negative was that it has an open muzzle end that is roughly flush with the muzzle. Given that it will mostly be behind my bino harness, I don’t see it as a huge negative. It does cover the front sight though.Awesome thank you!
How many rounds through it? And what ammo?Mine is having issues w failure to chamber. Not sure if it’s the mag loading issue or ammo quality issue. I’m sure I can figure it out, otherwise seems promising.
150-200 rounds through it. Winchester of some variety, I’d have to look when I get home. I can smack the back of the slide and get it to chamber when it happens. How many rounds through it? And what ammo?
KelTec recommends 40 gr or heavier bullets. I’ve run close to 1000 rounds through mine so far and only had 3 FTF. Those occurred after shooting 350+ rounds in a single string without cleaning. I sprayed the gun down with carb cleaner and it ran flawlessly after that. Have not cleaned the bore other than using carb cleaner. I was also shooting the cheapest bulk 50 gr ammo I could get (Federal 50 gr HP BYOB 250 round bottles). I’ve also shot CCI 40 gr SP and Speer Gold Dot 40 gr HP through mine without any hiccups. Here’s a link to the bulk Federal ammo.150-200 rounds through it. Winchester of some variety, I’d have to look when I get home.
