Have half a case of PMC Bronze 223 (500 rounds) for sale, for $425 (F&F, no mention of ammo, shipping included...won't ship to Alaska, Cali, Hawaii, or Illinios - sorry).

If you want gunbroker prices, I'd suggest going straight there. The people paying those prices are either new, uninformed gun owners or the type of people who also go to Walmart every morning, and buy every round of ammo to resell at flea markets or pawn shops for scalper prices.

People are tired of seeing these prices because it's just people trying to take advantage of fear. Sure, list it for whatever you want, it's a free market. Just know you're part of why the prices are high. If people stop paying panic prices, ammo will return to normal prices.

I understand your concern, and want to apologize that my one thread here is why the prices are high (part of why). As you said, we can all do as we please...and we can also say as we please on these forums as well, which is why you're free to have your opinion and comment at will with it. No worries on my end, because these forums are here for exactly that, everyone to share their opinion with whomever they want...whether they agree or disagree.

Regardless of whether I'm (apparently) the type of person that goes to Walmart every morning, or if I happened to recently buy a full case (at present prices) only to decide I don't truly need a full case at this time, is irrelevant. I put the posting out there to give a potential buyer an opportunity at some immediate ammo...if everyone on this forum is set, and not looking for 223, then nobody will need to buy it, and we can all go on about our day.

I saw in the "Be Respectful" classified post you mentioned stockpiling ammo when prices are/were cheap...so I was just wondering when you last bought .223 for that price, or if that's just "your offer" because you have been stockpiling over the years?

Its probably been 16-18 year sense 223 was .25 a round and that probably shitty steel case ammo. The cheapest you can buy right now is .70 a round and that is junk ammo. Your price is pretty decent considering what others are selling it for , no one gave the guy shit for listing 110 rounds for $200.

It's like bacon......a year ago when people were stockpiling toilet paper, I was stockpiling bacon at under $3/lb. I even bought another freezer. Now I haven't bought bacon in months because it's above my price point that I will pay. But hopefully my supply holds out until it drops below that again.

Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure I posted something about those ammo prices back when I bought it.......as a service announcement. I know I posted it on one of the forums.

I still have plenty of both, and now have a moose and a sheep in the freezers too after drawing both tags last year. I actually shoot .17HMR more than .223 these days, but .223 is one of those things that you kind of have to have on hand.

I remember seeing some .223 on GB for $1.50/round a few months ago, and it was selling.

Like ya said, it's all supply and demand...just thankful I didn't pay $1.50/round, I realize I overpaid, but that's insane!

I just saw the post for 200 pieces of Hornady 6.5 Creedmoor brass...for $181...can damn near get Lapua brass for that price (and it's in stock at Midsouth)...and yet, it looks like it might've sold already!
