With all of the buzz around the NX6 2-12 and it's lack of a good mil hunting reticle this might be interesting with a Griffin Mil G2 in it. Still not perfect but could be a step in the right direction. I'm unaware of how recent models like the RDB 1-8 do in terms of reliability

19.6 oz, 77' FOV at 1.5x. Looks like it will be an interesting little optic. Wonder if it will stay around the $1500 mark
