Bob has an ad for tent. You replied to his ad with interest. You receive a text message or pm about the item but you didn’t reach out to Bob with your cell number or the pm received wasn’t from Bob. The message usually has poor grammar and wants to continue communicating through a channel away from the forum so they can continue the scam after being banned (we get several reports on a member after we banned them) or they aren’t a member and simply found your number that you posted in the forum (anyone can view the site).
You had your number in a couple ads from years ago, I removed it.
