I want to remind everyone that gear is the focus of this forum. Turning a technical or sales thread into arguments, personal attacks, or jokes won’t be tolerated. We are fine with the humor where appropriate and it doesn’t break other rules, remember to keep it PG-13. If you have a legitimate problem with a member it shouldn’t be handled in a thread, take it somewhere private or report it. This isn’t limited to just sponsor threads, it goes for everyone.

I appreciate the humor. We all, well most of us, do this for fun. A few people take this way too seriously and think they’re way too important. This forum was great before any one user and will be great when each of us move on, maybe even better.

Keep up the fun, it’s what keeps most people coming back because let’s face it, the tech stuff is on repeat over and over again.

I like a balance of info and fun for sure but I think the reminder is warranted. Gear and skills should outweigh the over arguing and memes. But we need a few laughs, because some of them are just too good. But to the point - there’s been a lot of crap to scroll past lately.

Edit: enforce jokes limited only to direct experience ?

Audience too. A sponsor or another public figure here isn't going to want to continue their involvement if people use their engagement as a chance to troll, air grievance, take cheap shots, or muddy up their thread with inappropriate pics/commentary. Especially if it could damage their brand when outsiders stumble into Rokslide researching stuff. We need to treat that engagement as special, without running them off.

Hell yes sir. Was going to mention the amount of contrarians that just get on here to hate seems to be markedly increasing but wasn’t sure this was the thread…..so glad to hear this. I’m all for some discussions and differing view points but we’re talking about a different group here. Purge on.
