We have been a Supporting Vendor here on this forum for many years. As with any aware business we know we don't know what we don't know. Which is why we are asking for your assistance in letting us know what we could be doing better for you. We value your input and suggestions.

For those of you who are not familiar with us we are a family owned and operated shop since 1957. Pop always said the only difference between us and the other guy has to be us. Product does not make anyone special, so we strive to be that difference through personalized service. When you call us we answer the phone. No press x for y reason. If we are here we answer, if we are closed it will just ring. We reply to e-mails personally. The general e-mail is [email protected] and my e-mail is [email protected]

Through the years we have posted that if you have any issue with a product brand we handle, whether you purchased it from us, or elsewhere, we are happy to assist in resolving that issue.

We seek deals for you in Demo's, Open Box Goods and Specials including manufacturer closeouts at substantial savings to you.

Our customers have suggested adding a few brands we have not carried. At SHOT Show this year we took care of that....We have listed and added some to our site including Holosun, Nocpix, Trijicon, Elcan and EoTech. We can Special Order the products for these brands for you. We, obviously, do not have everything they offer on the site, however, we can get it for you. Just call us to discuss what you're looking for.

We offer ZERO % financing on all web orders. Please look at Affirm at check out, if this is something that interests you, for 0% financing.

We have a Just Arrived section that get's updated daily. We leave each days arrivals posted in this section for 1 week so if there's something you've been waiting to arrive you can check this section.

We have a Flash Sale Page where we post extra special savings on various products.

For over 2 decades, every month, we've run a Monthly Web Drawing. The 1st Wednesday of every month we give away a host of different products. No purchase necessary, just enter each month if you're interested in winning a great optic, tripod or camera, depending on the month.

I’m good for the time being, but you guys have earned my biz in the past and will continue to do so in the future.
 
Also glad to see Trijicon on that list. For my personal purchases over the past couple years that’s been the main thing that kept me from purchasing from you vs someone else.
 
Doug. I have always been a great supporter of what you do. I would ask you one thing. I think that Neil and you could make a tutorial that could help people learn about the difference between top glass and second tier. Some people need top glass but second tier is almost as good. The reason for this is that with the great expense that hunts have grown to be, understanding what alpha brings is important. I think that some people can get by with less. Just some simple thoughts but I am spoiled and I shouldn't prattle on.
 
I haven’t done a lot of business with you but I’ve done a little. One purchase sticks out to me as I called with a question regarding a couple different Athlon range finders. I can’t remember if it was you or someone else I spoke with but they didn’t know the answer immediately. They went out of their way to call their brand rep, ask for details on the 2 optics, and give me a call back with the findings.
Most recently I was hopeful you carried vortex (I know… what company selling high quality glass wants to sell vortex 🤢) as I was looking to get a specific red dot but it didn’t look like y’all stocked it.
 
Most of my glass has been purchased secondhand, but I did buy a tripod from you all a few years ago. I called in and spoke with Neil. Great conversation, and I think I was laughing most of the time I was on the phone. Tripod is still rocking along!

Keep doing what your doing, and if I am in the market for new glass, and you guys stock it, you will be front of mind for me.
 
Doug, if possible … it would help us if you could expand the filters on the website. Check boxes for brands, FFP, SFP, min /max magnification, weight, objective size, capped or exposed turrets, mil, moa, illum, to name a few. Example, I want to search for illuminated scopes between 2-10 and 3-12 with an objective between 42 & 44mm , FFP, MIL, under 25oz with exposed turrets across these 4 brands.

It's been a few years since I ordered something, but 2 things stick out. Maybe your process has changed since then. On 2 purchases, I never received an email invoice showing my purchase and on both of them I also didn't get a tracking number until I called and spoke to you or Neil. Would appreciate an email confirming purchase within a reasonable time after ordering and the same with the tracking number. Thank you.
 
Have ordered a few times from Doug and Joel. Good and supportive folks. I am drawn to "deals" and have actually purchased several items second hand over the years as well. With that said, I always peruse through Cameraland's site before I make a buying decision. Too many good deals found over the years. From Cameras, to tripods to binos etc., you have a good selection and good service. Thank you!

Also, I had to use a warranty on a brand new product I purchased from you. You facilitated that quickly and the mfg was excellent to deal with. Thank you for doing that. With that said, as it was a brand new item, waiting for the warranty put me past the return period if I had chosen to go that route. Maybe more discussion around how that would work if I chose to return rather than deal with a warranty. And in all fairness, I didn't ask about having that option either as I really wanted the item I had purchased even though it had to be warrantied. And the mfg took care of it quickly and to my satisfaction.

Overall, I know that mechanical pieces of equipment can have mechanical issues. Sometimes early on. That isn't ON CameralandNY or any retailer, that is on the mfg. What CameralandNY did to support me was excellent with excellent communication.

To conclude, I will continue to buy from CameralandNY when it makes sense for me to do so. You have earned at least a look from me as a perspective buyer. Your customer service is excellent.
