Last time I was in Capser I stayed at the C'mon Inn, it was nice and built like a big log cabin. If I remember correctly it was about $100/night.

Avoid the Showboat lol. La Quinta was fine for us when we got snowed in last year.

There are quite a few major hotel chains. I really wouldn't say anything is "upscale".

Airbnb or vrbo is what I would do. Prices are very reasonable out that way.

Same here. We stayed in a nice house downtown for close to hotel prices.
