Planter Fasciitis

Ok, I've been doing the iced water bottle and my daughter bought me this roller which feels amazing.

Been stretching before taking a step in the morning and whenever else I can. Make it point to never go barefoot.

I was feeling pretty good until I went and put the rest of my trail cameras out this weekend. Not sure if it's the uneven terrain or side hilling or what but damn it tore me up again. I switched to my stiffest pair of boots too.

Going to look at these recommend insoles and get some on the way.

I really appreciate everyone's input and I'd have never guessed it was such a wide spread problem.
Stiff boots made mine way worse. Way better with the ultra cushioned Hoka trail shoes. I think the boot at night, calf stretches and strengthening, and insoles will really help.

I'm running 40-50 miles a week now training for an ultra with no symptoms.

Wow this Planter Fasciitis has me limping with pain. Anyone else dealt with it?

I'm a little nervous with the season fast approaching and a stretch and hope it goes away prognosis, got to be a better way.

Anything help like fitted insoles or more cushioned shoes? At this point it's really negatively impacting my movement.

Have struggled with it and now almost zero issues after seeing foot doctor 2 years ago.
1) toe touch stretches, progressively from a few seconds in the morning to 30 seconds to a minute at night
2) wear Oofa sandals around the house instead of barefoot or unsupportive shoes
3) custom inserts or for me Superfeet green
4) if anything flares up take a break instead of trying to push through.

This worked for me
