Hi all! Newby here to the muzzleloader world. I'm a long-time hunter that is finally trying to make the leap into the black powder world. I live in Oregon so I know I need to keep my options to black powder and musket caps. Looking at the CVA Optima in the Northwest edition but am hoping to find options for purchasing some used equipment. Obviously Rokslide is an option but is there any other decent places that others are finding used equipment to save a few bucks? Thanks for your input!

I'll look into those. I've never heard of a White. Do they sell an Oregon/Idaho musket cap model?
Oregon allows percussion cap (#11 or musket) or flintlock.

Yes, all Whites are percussion (although a 209 Kit is available). They enjoy a cult-like following for good reason. Some of the finest muzzleloaders ever built.

Thanks, I'll be watching this. What is a decent price for this rifle?
I have this model White as well as a Super 91. They are great rifles and accuracy is unmatched shooting big lead conicals. In good condition as this one appears to be $400 would be a fair price.
