Pins for archery elk...20/30/40 vs 30/40/50?

Current setup:
Montana BG 3 pin slider
408 gr Easton 5.0
277 fps
Pins at 20/30/40

Sept archery elk....shots honestly could be anything...thick timber to longer shots in meadows/burns.

Should I change my sight pin setup to 30/40/50?
 
Rookie perspective, but this close to the season I’d say stick with what you’re used to. If 20-30-40 is your mental “default setting”, keep it there to minimize the chance of using the wrong pin.

That said, I have my top pin at 30, but I’ve done that for a while and it’s what I’m used to. I also know that if I hold it dead on at 20 I’ll only be about 3” high, so it hopefully won’t be a problem for me.
 
I would change it to 30-40-50. You still have a month and you should be able to have your bow sighted in one shooting session in about 30 minutes pretty easily. I shoot one vertical pin set 30 or 35. I only slide it if the shot is past 40 which has never happened for me on an elk hunt in 35 years.
