Pine creek unit oregon

Any insight to this unit for archery would be great. Looking for a backup for the Snake River Unit if its blazing since its a 2-3 day pack out (2 dudes no animals) for a bull and worry a bit about spoilage if the 90+ keeps up into September. Have hunted the snake the past 3 years but want to possibly venture out if we have too.

Still waiting on a response from the biologist assigned in terms of water and access point but growing anxious.

Know the unit very well. Wolves have ruined it.

Give it a go. Explore it. Theres cooler temps in the higher elevation portions or near the river. The wolves have been putting a dent in populations in those units but they cant eat them all. I wouldnt expect a trophy and I would move on several miles if you do locate wolves.
