PM me if ya need to, We used to go there literally every summer growing up. and i have taken my family there quite a bit as well
Maybe winter when a lot of the theme park stuff is closed. Early spring isn't bad, right after stuff starts to reopen. But it picks up steadily through spring, madhouse through summer, then stays busy through fall with leaves changing colors and people trying to cram in one more mini vacation. In addition to all the tourist stuff, PG stays busy with conventions, car shows, etc so that there's almost always something going on.Are there any times of the year when it is less crowded? Or is it like Disney World-always crowded, and always standing in line?
Yeah, kids love that Discovery Museum in Chattanooga. Crazy how much they improved that downtown area from what it was when I was growing up.Depending on your direction of travel, both Asheville and Chattanooga are worth a stop. Aquarium and kids center in Chatt were big hits for my kids.
+1 on this. Our kids have been to this small zoo a couple times. Always fun.We were there in April, and the Rainforest Adventures place was a hit with my kids. Lot of reptiles, but other interesting creatures too.

Yep. Those are the guys. Expensive, but worth it. I didn't want some hillbilly on meth responsible for my safety. These guys are legit.Check out this place for zip lining. Did an outing with them during an Oahu trip a few years back and I wouldn’t hesitate to check out their Gatlinburg location.CLIMB Works Smoky Mountains | CLIMB Works
