This guy sure is persistent. Late, but persistent.

First time I'd been swung at by a goat. Unless she was high-fiving me for making it all the way up there.

That is a great pic and so funny.

You have to provide a little back story on how it came to be?

I didn't think it was possible to get that close to a goat unless it was dead.

Not sure if this measures up with some of you western hunters lol, here's a pair of foxes that wandered under my tree the other day when I was hoping for a deer. Not huntable in this area...

I was actually bear hunting from the bottom of this canyon and couldn't find anything worth pursuing so in the mid day boredom I decided to climb up after the goats just to see how close I could get. I ditched my pack and bow while I closed in the final few hundred yards. Of course the pics make it look flat lol.

The most memorable part was that a kid busted me and started crying and freaking out and the adults didn't see me so they didn't give AF. Kid must cry wolf a lot. Anyways it was a lot of fun and a good challenge.

First 3 are some pretty cool pics from Yellowstone NP. Seeing that land and those animals are what lit my flame for western hunting. Last pic is a pic of a deer I finally got to come close enough to hand-feed in South Carolina.

I hate snakes, but through the years they dont bother me. This is a six foot bull snake. he is so beautiful. he actually two weeks earlier crawled up out of the riding lawnmower and slithered into my lap. scared the hell out me. he is just sunning himself here. he is a beautiful creature of God. Kept the rattlers away too.
